Financial Advisor

Chris Clarke is a Financial Advisor at Diamond State Financial Group. As a former Delaware public school teacher for over 15 years, Chris believes in empowerment through education. When working with clients, Chris emphasizes a comprehensive financial strategy that considers all facets of people’s lives, financial and otherwise. He believes in the power of kindness and positivity, and works closely with teachers who share these beliefs.

Education

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in history education from the University of Delaware in 2009. Since then, Chris has earned master’s degrees from Delaware State University, Wilmington University, and the University of Delaware. Chris holds his Series 7 and Series 66 registrations as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses to meet the diverse needs of his clients. Chris is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.

Community

Chris is a lifelong resident of New Castle County, Delaware who believes in the power of local community. Chris graduated from Newark High School in 2005. His mother was a nurse at Christiana Hospital and his father was a self-employed home contractor. Both taught him the value of hard work at a young age. As an avid cyclist, Chris loves to support various charitable causes that help people get outside and travel safely by bike, including Bike Delaware, the East Coast Greenway Alliance, and the Rails to Trails Conservancy.

Personal

Chris lives in Middletown, Delaware with his amazing wife Courtney, and two sons. Courtney is the owner of Drama Kids of Wilmington and Delaware County and has shown Chris, by example, what it means to run a compassionate business dedicated to helping people grow and succeed. In his spare time, Chris enjoys listening to music, reading, and playing golf. Every summer, Chris embarks on a multiday bike trip with friends to explore our nation’s beautiful trails!
