Kimberly Martin is a Financial Advisor at Diamond State Financial Group. She specializes in working with individuals going through significant life changes like becoming a blended family, recently divorcing or losing a spouse. She experienced watching her parents deal with some of these difficulties, so now she helps others discover potential financial risks allowing them to feel confident in their financial future. Kim’s grandfather was an advisor and one of the first in the country to get his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification, which helped influence her career choice and love of helping others.
Kim graduated from Wilmington University’s College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. While attending Wilmington University, she was also in the Delta Epsilon Rho Honor Society. Kim has earned her Series 7 and Series 66 registrations and Life and Health Insurance licenses. She is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.
Kim is a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. She gives educational talks once a month to teach and spread awareness. She recently started an annual wine tasting for the association. Her grandmother passed of Alzheimer’s in 2020, so Kim has a close connection to the cause.
You can find Kim is always up for an adventure when not at work. She runs half and full marathons, plays volleyball, snowboards, hikes and generally loves being outside. She also enjoys being at home with her two cats, Nevin and Honey, drinking wine and relaxing reading non-fiction or figuring out her latest Sudoku.
